LVT – Install the mat securely, floor probe must be installed to avoid over heating or damaging the floor covering. Then pour a 10mm layer of self levelling compound over the entire area being heated (suitable for underfloor heating), once set, you can then lay the floor covering.
Tiles – Install the mat securely, floor probe must be installed to avoid over heating or damaging the floor covering. Then apply a 4mm bed of tile adhesive over the entire area being heated (suitable for underfloor heating), and then lay the tiles.
Wooden – We recommend installing a 6mm or 10mm high density insulation or tile backer board to prevent heat loss. The Komfort 150 heating mat is a strong self-adhesive mat, with 360° fully screened twin conductor encompassed within a tough PVC outer sheath (non UV stable). With just a 4mm thickness it can be easily and quickly fitted directly onto the existing floor such as concrete or screed, making it perfect for renovations.
Two individual mats will be supplied if the you choose over 12m2.
