The KomCem20 Overlay board is a lightweight construction board that is specifically designed for use with various surface finishes such as tiles, cement-based screeds, and synthetic renders. It is made from high-density extruded polystyrene and features a reinforced cement coating on both the top and bottom surfaces, which enhances its impact resistance and compressive strength. This board MUST be primed before laying tiles, marble or stone directly. 

This Overlay board is a high-compressive strength 200 kPa XPS insulation board specifically engineered for low-profile underfloor heating systems. It features durable cement coatings on both faces, making it ideal for direct tiling or application of floor leveller. Once levelled or tiled, it supports all common floor coverings.

The board measures 1200mm x 600mm x 20mm and comes pre-grooved at 150mm pipe spacing. These grooves are precision-cut to accommodate 16mm underfloor heating pipes, offering an efficient layout with quick, accurate installation and optimal heat output.
